In November of 2017 I took the train up from Philly to Kingston, Rhode Island and met up with my friends Ben Jacobsen, Dave Simms, and Eric Gove. From Kingston we took the ferry from Point Judith out to Block Island to start our 21 in 24 project with the goal of photographing all 21 of Rhode Island’s lighthouse in 24 hours.
We had a night to kill before starting the official 24 hours at sunrise so we checked out this viewpoint overlooking Sachem Pond and North Lighthouse. The sky was full of beautiful pink tones and the water was brilliantly blue. It was a great start to our weekend.
