In November of 2017 I took the train up from Philly to Kingston, Rhode Island and met up with my friends Ben Jacobsen, Dave Simms, and Eric Gove. From Kingston we took the ferry from Point Judith out to Block Island to start our 21 in 24 project with the goal of photographing all 21 of Rhode Island’s lighthouse in 24 hours.
North Light was our second stop of the day. We woke up before dawn to shoot the stars at South Light and then hiked out to North Light for sunrise. A group of whispy clouds blew over the lighthouse as the sun was rising and the clouds picked up the pinks and oranges of the sunrise.
