I spent the last afternoon of 2024 hiking up Pemetic Mountain in Acadia National Park. The hike was classic Acadia - the trail along Jordan Pond and through a pine forest gradually gave way to rock hopping on granite outcroppings. The last sunset of the year behind the islands and bays of the Gulf of Maine was beautiful.

A portion of the sales of this photo will be donated to Friends of Acadia to help protect and preserve the area for future generations.
